The Dobbs Ferry PTSA is a 100% volunteer-run organization, working together to enhance the educational experience of every student. Joining the PTSA and volunteering your time, expertise and passion is not only a service to the students and the schools. It is also a great way to build community and get to know people.
Here are just some of the programs and opportunities that PTSA volunteers and funds have made possible:
Used book sale
Help fund field trips
Provided efficient school supplies for all schools with delivery of supplies to all classrooms.
Organize coffee chats for parents with middle school principal
Organize SAT and ACT bootcamps
Organize transportation to the Senior Prom
Organize photo day for all schools
Help fund the Springhurst Outdoor Classroom/Garden
Held Five Rivertown Parents parent education seminars in collaboration with Rivertowns PTA organizations.
