Each June, the Springhurst Community celebrates the Spring harvest with a school-wide salad day. Many types of lettuces, spinach, radishes, and snap peas are served. Herb infused olive oils for dipping baguettes and pesto pasta are also served. Parent volunteers support this favorite event.

This year was our first ever zero waste salad day using all compostable plates, napkins and wood forks! We also had homemade dressings made by the Wellness Committee with ingredients donated by faculty members.
